Good to see you picked one of the worst characters out there. If you want to model yourself after someone, use someone good, someone with positive traits, someone that will inspire you to be better, not a jackass, which is all you're gonna get from acting like any Will Farrell character. The guy is meant to be a joke.

I like to model myself after Michael Weston, the lead character from Burn Notice. The guy is an ex-spy, so he has the same traits as James Bond, minus the fancy toys, instead he uses his cunning to defeat his enemies, just like a PUA should. He is massively cocky/funny, he exudes confidence and intelligence, as well as being able to fit into any situation, whether it be a multi-million dollar mansion, or a shabby dockside, not to mention the smile on the guy is just magnificient. I would kill many innocent young babies if only I could smile like that guy....

That came off a little harsh...but nah I like that character and he has a bunch of confidence, which a pick up artist needs in the field. He's a joke because nobody really has that kind of confidence in real life. But anyway hard to explain I dont why i'm replying to this...I wrote this to find out what everyone else has chosen, not for people to knock mine...and take rep

I'm probably wasting my time, but maybe you'll understand if re-phrased.

That is a character in a comedy movie. He is intended to be made fun of and disliked by people for being stupid and possessing many traits that people don't think highly of. That is the same as any character that Will Farrell portrays, because he is a comedy actor and he specializes in playing obnoxious characters. You should really re-think your choice of muses.

I've never really modeled actors or charctors porpusly... but I've had people tell me I was similiar to a few charactors... Vince Vaughn, John Travolta, sometimes Brad Pitts charactors.

I'm also not sure why you would choose Ricky Bobby to emulate? He's not confident... he's misguided and ignorant. I could understand the energy part... I tend to be very high energy or very relaxed naturally, I'm reminded of the scene where he's yelling at the old man and the camera "Whoo!!! Whoo!!!"... that I can related to.

I would be very interested to see what parts of that persona lead to you to choose it for emulation?

the reason that was funny is because waking up and pissing excellence is ridiculous but he is 100% serious. the character is stupid but serious which makes him funny. dont be this guy.

Look Trojanman, if you are really here to LEARN and HELP others, that's cool. But coming in here with a big ego, when it's still unwarranted, will just make enemies. And I'm sure you don't want that. You may very well be the next thing since Mystery, but I KNOW a lot of guys in here are fucking good, and to be honest, from what I see, you have a lot of space to cover to catch up to some guys.

I'm not saying this to tear down your confidence. In fact, it's fantastic that you have the confidence that you have. At the same time, we have to be realistic too, about where we are currently at, OR we won't ever get to where we want to go.

And I'm sure you want to go far.

And, to answer your thread, I don't base myself off of a fictional character, but one character that fairly closely resembles me is Dr. House.
