This girl I've been dating for only 3 weeks is having a birthday party tomorrow. I'm going to be meeting like 10-15 of her friends and I'm freaking out. I normally wouldnt be freaking out over this but we are not yet official and I have not fucked her yet.

We have hung out a handful of times and she is really into me. I've went through the whole emotional progression with her minus seduction. Yah I know, we live an hour apart so the seduction phase has not happened yet. I've already promised her I would make it and she has been planning on me coming so I think bailing is not a good idea at this point. I dont even know if I'm introduced as a friend, boyfriend, or what her friends know about me.

I feel like a high school kid asking for advice but I have not come across this situation till now. We're really into each other and the only thing we havent done is fuck and had the relationship talk. I really like this girl and I feel like this birthday party can really hurt me in more ways than one.

Although it may be too late, for anyone else:

Think of meeting her friends (who she probably wants to approve of you) a big shit test. Go there, be the loudest dude that has everyone surrounding them. Lie if you have to, its all a game. The game is mostly lies anyway. Example: If you can play guitar.. play it.. make yourself the center of attention and THEN act like you are more interested in her friends than her at that time. She will be on you before the end of the night!

Alternate solution, you could make an excuse you can't make it at last minute for (insert important reason here). No death,sick,animal dying, reasons though. Something like "my god, my best friend who moved to blah just stopped by passing through from a business trip to surprise me and wants to catch up!"

Either would work depending on your personality.

don't put too much pressure on yourself to be someone special at the party. no offence , but you haven't fucked her yet- someone special in her life has that emotional connection that you have and is fucking her.

Parties are always the same for me it starts off slow with many little sub parties and as time progresses it becomes more intense and these groups merge and the sub parties get bigger until one dominates ( its all economics dude).

Her birthday party went well... didnt have to act special or anything. F-closed that night and she brought up the question... "are we allowed to see other people?" I was surprised she was the one to ask but who cares, shes my girl now.
