Ok, so im fairly new to the game, im still an AFC, but ive read the game, mystery method and also watched both seasons of pua, but that doesnt matter cuz i wont learn without going out and trying. i have approach anxiety pretty bad, if i get the confidence to finally approach a girl you would be able to tell im nervous from my voice. So what i decided to do with a couple of my AFC friends that are learning just like me was do 50 approach's, but only open the set. so basically Open the set with an indirect approach just to get over AA, and become better at opening with confidence. So this girl was sitting behind me on the bus today and my stop was coming up in about a minute so i said what the hell ive got nothing to loose. So i turned around over the shoulder and said "Quick question, i need a girls opinion on something, who lies more men or women? just to open the set and get answer and leave. "so she said well i guess it depends on the person" and im like oh ok true thanks and then it was time for my stop and i left. I feel good that i approached and i feel like approaching more girls. What do you guys think i could of said after her answer, it was like i was completely brain dead, and the way she answered she seemed to have a really dry vibe.

Anyways if someone could help me out i would really appreciate it. This community has helped me alot!

I'm not a fan of using opinion openers and indirect game in general, but if I were in your situation I would have immediately shifted to a more flirty vibe by saying something along the lines of "I actually just wanted to have any excuse to talk to you because you're cute. I'm Afc_Odie, what's your name?"

One of my favourites has always been "which are better, ninja's or pirates?"

so many different outcomes with that but have responses for either -

"oh pirates eh? is that cause you like Johnny Depp? - you know he's not a real pirate"
"Ninja's - that's cool, i prefer ninja's, they're more effective"
"oh pirates? so you think raping and pillaging's cool?"
"Ah, so you're more of the quiet thinking kind that no-one notices and then BAM! there you are with your sword!"
"Pirates eh...that's right, they Aaaaaaargggh!"

its a real easy one to get them to open up and you to make some quick assumptions about them/lead into negs/dhv etc

just have your own opinion, make some assumptions, crack some jokes

Yea, you have to have the personality and response that you would want them to have. So if they're like "depends on the person", you could respond with "Of course! And you're the person! So who do YOU think lies more?!" then laugh excitedly. I get that she was saying it varies from person to person, but you want to flesh out an answer here, and you can't let her settle with something vague like "it depends..."

Some of the shit you say in set won't be funny and it won't even make sense, but it's all about how you say it and keeping the energy and flow moving in the direction you want. Dogs don't understand your verbal commands, but they understand that you are speaking at them and that you want them to do something, so they obey. It's in their nature. Women are the same way.

And you have to have all the variables of your opener thought out ahead of time. If the girl tardz out and can't give you a real answer, then you tell her that you think men lie more but women condition us to lie. Then ask what she thinks about that. Then if she still seems disinterested you can say something like "You're not good at talking to people are you?" then smile again. Hopefully she'll start to open up a bit after that.

Here's what I'd do:

Me: "Who do you think is better at lying: girls or boys?"
Her: "[Answers and gives reason]."
Me: "[Looking at her suspiciously] Are you.....lying to me right now??"

Delivery is key, as they would always say that they aren't, then laugh. C/F stuff
