I haven't posted on here much so I figure it's time to start contributing. So, I coined a simple opener that works like a charm:

ME: I need a girls opinion on something...
TARGET: ???????
ME: My friends and I were talking, and what's the deal with Pinterest?

That's it! Prepare for a lengthy answer! It's wonderful because girls don't expect guys to know anything about Pinterest. She might even take her phone out and start showing you stuff on her Pinterest app. It's a great way to find out what she's interested in to transition the conversation from Pinterest...
