I have been broken up with my ex for three years. We talk on birthdays/holidays only. Our friendship is fine. We broke on bad terms. I basically ignored her for two weeks. Then she was like wtf. I tried to get back with her a year ago through a love letter. Didnt work. We live in dif cities now. I just hit her up today when i came home. I said

"Hi There"
She responded with "Hello friend" two hours later.

I want to smoothly and slowly get her back into my life. I have no idea if this is possible but thought I'd ask for some advice here. What do I respond with next? Should I make her wait some time before responding? Shes the type of girl where the less attn u give her the more she digs you. She's prob an 8/10.

While this is not impossible to pull off, it is not a good idea. You have yourself a case of oneitis. Cure yourself as soon as possible.

I don't have oneitis. I've been crushing bitches for the past three years. The truth of it is that I don't have the connection with anyone else I've dated like I do with her. I think the timing was bad when we broke up. Any help on what to reply would be helpful
