Open for any questions on nutrition and exercise! Few words for thought before hand on why working out is so important to be a PUA!

1. Guys have it much easier on looks then girls do...why because guys are attracted more through looks then girls are (not saying looks don't matter...don't be stupid) however; eating right and exercising should be a border line addiction for any guy...again AN ADDICTION! If you want to be confident then you must look that part.

2. 60% of the population is over-weight...sad...but i would agree. when you look like a fit guy it gives you leaps and bounds ahead of other guys who are probably fat going off the stats.

3. networking, networking, networking...you know how many people you could meet at the gym?? let alone hot girls who know how to stay in shape!

Anyways like i was saying let me know if you guys need any help or have questions?

yeah man i got a question, would your recommend streching before workout or after workout ? i always get missleaded by it. Because i read this one article stating that streaching before workingout is bad so now i am just wondering,. Should i do it in the morning for 30min warm up a little then strech or at thing before going to sleep.

dynamic streching is good pre workout as part of your warm up and static streching is good post workout depends on the diffrent types, theres an e-book called streching for sporting success which is pretty good on all this stuff mate

Interesting topic, its a subject I can use some help with.

A bit of background information. For as long as I have remembered I have been called skinny or wiry. At about 5’ 10 and 150 lbs I figure people have good reason to call me so. I have always been into sports(allot) but never been able to build up a substantial muscle mass. Partially the cause is a hereditary condition that prevents my body from up taking nutrients efficiently. Another issue must be that I have never been an avid gym lover, I have tried it at times but it usually bores me quickly.

Coming out of a LTR I set out to improve this aspect of my appearance. Now the goal is not to become a first rate body builder, but I will be more than glad with every step I take away from appearing sickly.

Do you have any tips to make the gym experience more engaging/les boring ?

What sort of nutrition (or supplements) should I be looking at in order to improve my (muscle-)mass?

just some more detail is necissary mate:

1) Do these sports require alot of cardio (Like soccer/Football or rugby or american football ect)
2) The name of the condition and if you are on any medication, if so the names of the medication

1) Yes some of them do, in particular cycling and soccer. Others such as wall climbing I would imagine have little cardio involved (but please do correct me if i am wrong)

2) I am told it is an auto-immune condition that hits the entire digestive system like a clusterbomb (a one name fits all answer I wasn't given). It manifests itself in a set of subconditions like acute pancreatitis, liver Cirrhosis and some crohnes symptoms. Ill spare you the whole list.
To manage that I take a daily regime of an immuno-suppresant (natrium-azathioprine) and mesalazine.

hey mate sorry its taken me so long to get back to you, been busy with clients and reading up on all the medication side of things, but I dont think I can really help you without all your medical history however heres what I would do, and maybe it might help you, I dunno:

1) From my understanding Azathioprine is prescribed when you either have had an organ transplant or to slow/halt the effects of stuff like rheumatoid arthritis, so as im guessing you havnt had an organ transplant im ganna go with the latter, another way to stop it would be my doing things like yoga, to help with your flexibility.

2) As your doing alot of cardio, you will be doing too much cv to actually get bigger, so my advice to you would be to a) if you can eat more (I don't know the name of your condition, so please if you have been adviced on anything nutritionally, stick with that) and b) try to cut down on your cv and go more for compound exercises like squats and deadlifts to really get the hormones ready and pumped for exercise, then after that go into isolation exercise, like bicep curls, triceps pushdown ect to get the best effect.

Really hope this helps for you mate, sorry I couldnt be any more use however as I said im not a doctor so with your condition unless I know the name I only really know about the drugs and how they work with the body, if you can give me any more knowledge on your condition or anything I'll see what I can do.

I have a similar condition, been diagnosed with Crohn's a year and a half ago, but luckily mine isn't so bad and I've been in remission for six months already.

Having said that I've always struggled to gain weight, even though I do eat a lot. Perhaps dead lifts and squats are in order

anything that uses 2 or more joints (so compound exercises) will help you put on muscle so yea deadlifts, squats, pressups, all these will help,
I dont know enough about crohns to say anything for fact but I would imagen just follow a proper guide and your do well, I made a rough one that outlines the basics here:
