So I have a specific situation and I wanted to get the collective take on this.

So in the situation where you are currently freezing someone out, but you are forced into interaction with them for one reason or another, what is the recommended way to respond?

Here is the gritty details of the situation. So there's a hot coworker that I've been half assed gaming (mostly because I don't like to mix work/pleasure but damn she's a hottie so I can't help myself sometimes) and she pissed me off. Scenario was that she offered to give me a ride to work (she lives nearby to my house) so I could take my truck in for service and she did no problem, but the shop was booked up so I asked if she could give another one the next day and again she said fine, but then that morning she "forgot" and drove in to work like normal.

Now she was already 2 strikes in to my 3 strikes your out rule and I let her know this prior (2 failed lunch invites she agreed to but then flaked on after, one from me, one from her). So this was strike three and I put her in freeze out.

However, we work together, so I'm forced occasionally to walk past her or bump into her at the copier or whatever. I don't want to be a complete dick because its my work place and everyone there thinks of me as a cool dude and it allows me a lot of slack on the rules so I don't want to disturb that by openly being rude to this retard.

So what are some suggestions for how to handle that type of forced interaction without softening the impact of the freeze. So far I've just been nodding and then quickly looking away and moving on, or a quick "sup" then gone. I want her to know she can't play those types of bs games and get away with it.
