To answer your first question of "How do I keep the attention of the group?" Is actually the same answer to What do I do after I say, "How do you all know each other?" So thank for you taking it easy on me.
The short answer is A2 phase of the Mystery Method, or "Female to Male" Attraction. So basically, you engage the other people in the group with DHV stories or routines about yourself. Demonstration of Higher Value stories demonstrate: Preselection, Leader of Men, or Protector of Loved one Qualities. While you are doing these stories you will neg your target some. The hotter the girl the more you will neg her. For example you won't Neg an 7 but maybe twice and a 9 or 10 you would neg three or four good times.
A neg is just a back handed compliment, or a false disqualifier. Something like, "You're pretty tall, I like tall girls, what are those 2...3 inch heels!" or "You are too much of a nice girl for me." There is a great list of negs on the forum if you need them. Seach for the "Ulimate Negs Collection."
So you are telling these stories about you to the group and to attract the target. You are negging her playfully. You at this time also need to be looking for IOIs or Indicators of Interest from the target. As a guideline you are looking for 3. Things like her touching her hair, laughing at jokes that aren't funny, scratching the back of her hand, etc. Again there are list of these on the forum too.
When you receive 3 IOIs then you are going to transition slowly to A3 Male to Female Interest. In A3 is just the opposite of A2, you need the girl to DHV herself to you, so you can show interest in her. You do this by asking questions about her. There are posts on the forum for this as well.
