A Sticking Point or SP is an issue you CONSISTENTLY run into.

It is NOT a point where you get stuck with ONE SPECIFIC GIRL.

A Sticking Point is:
Quote:
I keep getting LMR whenever I bring girls back to my place. This has happened at least 10 times already! What am I doing wrong?
A Sticking Point is NOT:
Quote:
I got LMR with this one girl! What do I do?
IT IS AGAINST THIS BOARD'S RULES TO POST THREADS ABOUT JUST ONE GIRL
If you have not already gone out and practiced enough to have a real Sticking Point from meeting an ABUNDANCE of women, YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO POST HERE.

Have you ever been sniffed up like a dog by a HB?

As men with busy lifestyles (school, work, sarging  ) we sometimes tend to forget a little bit of hygiene, so I have two points to make.

1. DEODORANT\ANTI-PERSPERANT - I can't tell you how many times I have been out at a bar or club and have seen good, handsome guys, with either learned or natural game, I walk by them, and OMG do I wish I had a gas mask. Women have better olfactory centers than men, if you don;t smell it, there is a good chance that they do. Please, do not ever forget to put on deodorant or anti-persperant, spare the extra minute, even if it means missing your train. A little bit of BO sure does go a long way.

2. COLOGNE\PERFUME - This is a vital element to sarging. Consider it a form of peacocking, but find a spray that works well with your skin, and maybe a few others, and stick with them. I say this for the reason that just because your guy friend is wearing something that smells nice, that doesn't mean it will smell good on you. Every person's body has different oils that react differently to various scents.

Several things to keep in mind:
a. NOT ALL SCENTS ARE CREATED EQUALLY:
Perfumes and Colognes have nothing to do with gender. Perfumes are distilled for longer periods of time and are therefore stronger than colognes are. There are colognes for women and perfumes for men (and obviously vice versa).

b. FIND WHAT WORKS FOR YOU:
See what I wrote above about different scents working better with different natural body smells and skin oils.

c. PRICE DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING:
Many "designer" companies will mark up their scents for profit reasons. I have smelled some of the most amazing sprays that cost less than half the price of many big-time companies'. However, you can find cheaper sprays on the internet (ebay is great) as well as at wholesale boutique shops (buying 2 or 3 bottles at once).

d. DON'T MIX SCENTS:
Try not mixing one spray of this and 2 of that, unless you have gotten results from it. Noses get confused like peoples brains do. Try to get unscented or not too powerfully scented deodorant.

e. DO NOT OVER-DO IT:
Try to stick to 4 sprays or under. One spray on one wrist and rub it on other. One spray on neck and spread on other side of neck. One spray under each armpit and spread around abdomen. The neck and wrist are 2 vital spots because this is where your pulse is and the scent comes off your skin better with the heat from your blood.

I have 3 colognes that I use [Jean Paul Gualtier - Le Male (sweeter, vanilla), Rochas (cotton candy/cookies), and Joop - Nightflight (citrus/woody]. On different occasions I have had girls open me up as I walked by them saying "OMG, what is that, what are you wearing, etc.",

Girls will sometimes even sniff you if you smell good. I have had a girl lick my neck 5 minutes into talking to her because she said I smelt like cotton candy. For you guys with game, you know where to take it from here.

IMPORTANT: The human brain tends to associate smells with memories. If you smell good when a girl meets you, there is a much better chance she will remember you and that attraction will be created a lot easier/quicker. And the best part, if you manage to screw up your initial opening, next time she smells the scent you were wearing, if you had a somewhat decent lasting impression, she will think of you and be tempted to maybe re-initiate contact. In which case, your game for that particular girl should have been evaluated and changed accordingly.

Do not use anti perspirent, thats a stupid idea. And price makes a very big difference to the quality of a cologne. Just because you or whoever wrote this found an expensive bottle and didnt like how it smelt dosent mean its poor quality. Yes it's important to smell nice but this article over-simplifies and gives wrong information.

Hey there all, maybe a misunderstanding, but it wasn't because I found an expensive bottle that didn't smell good, I found cheap bottles that smelled better. The point being made was just because something is expensive doesn't mean it will be a good scent. Scents are made from 2 basic ingredients, grain alcohol and essential oils, that doesnt change. It's the recipes for the cologne or perfumes that change creating "quality". Many knock-offs smell exactly the same as "designer" companies, they just don't last as long, so it depends on how long you're going out for, what other smells will be in the air (restaurant, cafe, etc.), so on and so forth. Sometimes sister companies are considered knock-offs and they use slightly tailored recipes (Jean Paul Gualtier - Le Male costs $80 and Cuban costs $20, they smell exactly alike to the human nose and have the same duration of notes).

People have preferences. Yes, anti-persperants might be "carcinogenic", but so is toothpaste, and basically everything else you use, eat, drink these days. For some people deodorant is not enough, anti-persperant with deodorant usually works best. Also, deodorant doesn't protect against wetness like anti-persperant does, some heavier men, or just men who sweat a lot tend to develop lakes under their arm pits with just deodorant.

Remember, this forum is not created to tell people exactly what to do, it's to help us to develop into better pick up artists and in the long run, better people. We are here to share ideas, examples, and so forth, for knowledge purposes, not to take everything by the book and become robots.

Please with constructive criticisms, add a little bit of input, don't just say that's wrong or that sucks, it's where the "constructive" comes from. This will help you all get further in many aspects of life. Again, all are welcome to add on either positively or negatively, just make sure your adding something and not just complaining or criticizing.

HAPPY SARGING! (Oh, and New Year too!)

Hello,
just to add my 2 cents, I'm a fit guy (well into sports and working out) so I'm not considered heavy or big, however i do have a tendency to sweat a lot.

Usually the sweat is in the armpits and in the face area. As far as the face is concerned, you should visit the toilets and apply wet paper on your face to remove the sweat and the "glow" that comes with it.

I have found that I sweat in the face when i have anxiety, this is slowly fading away because I'm improving my game.

But sweaty armpits its just something i have to live with since it has nothing to do with anxiety. I use old spice deodorant with antiperspirant but even this doesn't seem to cut it. There's no stink involved, but sweat patches is something i need to worry about often and this kills my confidence. If I can find something that completely blocks it i'd use it no matter how much it costs :D

If you guys have any other suggestion plz feel free to share with me.

I agree with the Nature Boy... Anti-perspirant is truly a god-send.... Men need to smell their best when attracting a female, it's simple science of nature: animals do subconciously use their sense of smell to determine their mates.... Kick nature into gear, get your fragrance on and enjoy the benefits of natural instinct!

After a comment like that , I'd have to agree with Nature. Deodourants merely cover up the scent. Whereas antiperspirants prevent sweating which prevents the smell from ever developping. Besides , most antp. have a scent to them so They are 2 in 1.

Rogue,

Regarding your under-arm sweat. There is a procedure where Botox is injected, and stops you from sweating for 3-6 months. If you're self concious about it and it annoys you; I suggest setting up an appointment with a Plastic Surgeon or a Cosmetic Dermatologist.

Just trying to help out :)

Botoxing your armpits?

Surely no need when Driclor does the job more effectively, cheaply and permanently. You apply the stuff, and over a few weeks it blocks your sweat glands, eliminating perspiration. It can cause your underarms to feel like they're burning in the first few weeks while it takes effect though. No pain, no gain?

Read the link.

Rotating through anti-persperants/deodorants definately helps to keep them working. Use a different company everytime you run out of a bar. This way, your body doesn't get used to the same forumlas and chemicals that are used in each brand. The same goes for shampoos/conditioner, and body soap by the way. It's a habit that I am into and one that definately works. If anyone is having problems, try it.

Very true. Although I admit I've been an Old Spice man for a decade now.

So what do your recommend so you don't stink so horribly, but still give off your natural scent?

There are several unscented or natural anti-perspirants that just go on and prevent the sweat. No sweat = No BO. I know Mitchum makes some wooden type stuff that goes with natural body scent very well. Also, you can apply an unscented anti-pers. and then use a good cologne or perfume by your armpits.

I personally use cologne, but I spray just once, so the only way I can be smelled is if she is close to me. This works great because I am a huge hugger so before I break the hug they usually pull me back in to smell me haha.
