One of the ones I've read on this website that I like the most, is where you explain you already married/divorced the girl in your mind.

I have been trying a whole random set of lines just to see what happens.

A lot of the opener I have been using over the past month have been based on this. It's the first opener I used that gave me a consistent 1 in 9 response. Darth's thread really should be stickied. It is at some point going to be over used and might as well be the staple people base their stuff off of to give others an idea of what kind of things to say.

I found that opener did not work at all, coinciding to my standards..

Sure, I got a reply back...mostly asking "why, whats wrong with my picture?"


Woopty fuckin doo...


The conversation quickly ends after that.


Now unless you're only looking for 1-3 replies, that opener works great..

But if you're actually looking to MEET PEOPLE...its not so great. The conversations go nowhere..

I'd rather have an opener that leads straight to sex talk after 2 messages.. The opener telling her to remove the pic, is not one of those openers. At least in my experience.

I think you need to work on your second response. Because I have gotten 4 number closes in twenty days off of stuff like this. Conversations that last for more than 3 emails, and then to texting have out numbered the ones that never respond after my first reply(second email)

But if you actually want to get specific and say what your openers are, instead being broad, then I am all ears. I am here to learn after all. Where is that married/divorced one you are talking about?

I personally don't have success with the remove pic one... It usually goes like:

ME: I'd totally remove that pic from your profile...
HB: What?//Why?//Whats wrong with my pic?!///Which one?///uhhh...

My next reply(s) demonstrate my intention to see if she has a sense of humor and can handle my sarcastic humor as well...majority of girls fail at this. they give a comment that just is not fun at all, somewhat defensive and shit...scratch that...If you would like to tell us what you've said with this opener when it lead to you getting numbers, then please tell. And I'll let you know if it has or does work for me.


As for the married/divorced opener......Hopefully the gentleman who originally posted it on this website, will see this and step up, and link us to his topic where he covered the opener. Because I can't remember who he is, or where the topic is. But it essentially goes like this, "Hey there..I just want you to know that I already married you in my mind. Unfortunately, shortly after that thought, I had to divorce you. But, I want to also thank you for the great memories. Your ex hubby, Name."


Now that is not the actual one I use....The one I use sounds a lot better, well thought out, and is effective to an extent.

I'd say about 20% of girls are just too stupid to be funny and flirtatious with, and those are the ones who reply with "uhhh...", "....what?"...."huh?"

Boring...

Then I'd say about another 10% take offense to it...these are the girls that are paranoid as hell, and probably would suck to have around. They reply with things like "ewww you creep..leave me alone."..or "I don't know if you're serious, but either way its disturbing and you need help"...or something like "That's sad...get a life, loser."

I've had tons of girls reply in that fashion, and like the first 20%, they're just boring and too stupid to flirt with. I've had some success at turning those comments around on them and having a fun conversation, but eventually I just get bored...

Now, the other 70%....using the opener that I use.... (not the exact one I just posted here)...responds great... I've had girls tell me its the most clever and funny message they have gotten...I've had many girls turn it around and be like, "Its about time you divorced me, because I was fucking *celebrity name* for the past X amount of months of our marriage! Just found out the kid is not yours, but you still owe me X amount for child support. Your ex wifey

I wouldnt use the remove pic one. Full credit to anyone who makes it work, but its not flamboyant enough and is just going to confuse the girl. Sure enough you may have a high response rate, but its not going to raise the girl's intrigue levels because you're interesting and thus not going to generate the responses you should be chasing.

A reply of "why?" or "whats wrong with it?" is not what you want and unless you have a response to this that is pure gold, you're basically putting your own head in a noose.

I actually used the " If i was you I'd take that pick out from your profile" opener and guess what happened.....She took the pic out from her profile.

I used to use this one line all the time and I'd get amazing responses out of it. I posted it up on here and about a week later all i kept getting was "you're the third guy to say that to me today... what the hell is going on?" Regardless, that was about two years ago so i'm sure they've all forgotten:

It would work at least half the time with girls that were online. Sometimes they'd come back at me with cheesy pickup lines too which was fucking awesome.
