What's going on, gentlemen?

So, basically, I was single all the way through high school. Girls liked me but I never knew how to 'take it to the next level.' What an AWFUL feeling: watching cute girls tell me they have a crush on me, follow me around for a couple months, then move on. We'd hang out but I'd never attempt to do anything with them.

(I've always been confident in my looks but I'm just super shy and introverted.)

I've dated a couple girls since then. They came to me though. I've never actually initiated any action with any girl before. Why? I guess I've always been to nervous to break the ice but I really don't know.

Anyway, I've recently decided to stop wasting my time and deal with this issue. I've signed up for this site looking for advice and some 'beginner's tips.'

Looking forward to browsing the forums and hearing from anyone who wants to help.

PS. over the holiday's my hot female friend is going to attempt to be my wingman and help push me into meeting some girls. Hopefully, I'll learn some things from this experience. I'm willing to accept any embarrassment, all part of the learning process I guess.
