Hey everyone, this is my first post on this sight, so if you guys could hold back on the lingo a bit that would be great! Anyways usually I don't really have problems with girls that are to major, but I was texting one last night while with my friends, and mostly on a whim asked if she was dtf. Here's the convo:

Me: "yea haha that's pretty much true, at you dtf?
Her: uh idk I know _____ is (Another girl that is into me)
Me: but I want you
Her: oh
Me (20 minutes later) let's hang out tonight and se where it goes, no expectations

I realize looking back (this happened last night) that it was really straightforward, is there anyway of asking not like that, but still to the point? And how do I salvage this? She never responded

Try something like . I know this really cool bar in town that servers nitrous cocktails, we should so go and check it out together as my friend said they taste amazing.

Hey dude, what you said to that girl was quite possibly the worst thing to ever say to a girl that you want to hook up with. That was a gameless attempt at getting laid.

In pick up, the only thing close to that is called the "Apocalypse close". All you do is go up to the girl and say "Will you come home with me right now?" NOTHING ELSE!

You'll do far better with that as opposed to your dtf bit.
