Before writing this I had an idea to NEG this girl. I'm relatively new.
This is taking place in an Education Environment.

I think this girl is interested in me but she is shy etc. She may also think she is High value and is trying to play hard to get... Even though I'm not chasing her nor interacting with her currently. She is only quiet and shy around certain people including me and whenever I chat to her friend whilst she is nearby she will turn and look away EXTREMELY AWKWARDLY until we are done talking.

I was thinking of NEGing her as I haven't done it before and I think she probably thinks she is high value (from other signs when I wasn't practising gaming).

I wanted to get other more experienced PUA's opinions on what I should do because I want to find out what she is doing and possibly start gaming with her.

P.S The NEG I quickly thought up was going to be along the lines of "Why are you always so quiet?" or something like that, better more appropriate or higher quality NEG's appreciated

you don't really need to neg anyone. Just dismiss her "high maintenance behavior" and plow through it. There is nothing wrong with chasing, it isn't needy if it doesn't come from the mentality of I need this girl. You find out what you are doing first instead of trying to figure her out. Women get hot and cold like day turns into night. You will only confuse yourself.

Find out what you want from this girl and if she is worth your attention.

She probably thinks you're a creep. Especially if she's quiet around you.

Given this situation, the best neg you can give her is to ignore her. Start having joyful/interesting conversations with her friend. Give her a reason to want to join in. Then, when she starts looking at you both, that will be her saying she wants to engage. Then you can start gaming her again.
