I've ran into a few situations lately where I just clashed with the Alpha Male of a group or outting. It's really annoying me and i've zero experience in anti-AMOGery. I know a few general mannerisms such as firmly patting them on the back and saying things like "You're not too bad. Haha" while around everyone else to demonstrate dominance but beyond that it becomes tricky and I loose my footing.

The most recent AMOG I clashed with really left me with a sour taste in my mouth. I've got to see this guy again and I can't stand him. Are there any keen routines to run on an AMOG to lower his value?

The whole anti-amog thing is a bit counter productive, like most conflicts. How is belittling some guy going to help you win a girl? You should instead focus on the girl.

Without specific context, it's hard to say how to react. But in general you want to not react the way the AMOG wants you to. Generally they try to puff up and make a scene and draw attention to themselves while they make you look bad. Find a way to distract or divert the attention or steal it from them.

Well, with the most recent AMOG it doesn't really matter if I don't work towards the girl because i've already got her. The problem is he is the alpha of any of those group outtings and he's a bit too cocky and wouldn't be afraid to throw me off my game for the hell of it and try make me look bad. I want to pre-empt him before that happens especially given the advantage he has in the group he's been part of longer than I.

I guess the simplest way to sum him up would be a typical high school jock, the leader of the group. Pretty much like the stereotyped airhead asshole you'd see in the movies. I want to at least put him down a peg or two. I was chatting to his girlfriend one of the nights and got some good information about her. Would going after his girlfriend be the most direct way to take him off his perch? I'm fairly confident I could ruffle his feathers indirectly by having a specific conversation with his girlfriend about other guys she may be after... Heh.

I feel like that could also get your ass handed to you. Be careful bro
