Hi all, I recently found a childhood friend o FB. Seems she has grown into quite the pretty thing, and I figured why not write to her and see where it goes. At first I received no reply for a few weeks, then she wrote apologizing for taking so long because Facebook put my message in the "others" folder and she didn't see it.

We exchanged a few rather long messages laughing about stuff that happened when we were kids. She usually takes a long time to get back to me, and so do I because I'm usually busy doing other stuff. I ended the last message I wrote telling her that when I'm free we need to go out and reminisce about old times, and jokingly wrote that her Mom needs to make me some of her famous pancakes (I enjoyed them when we were kids.) She replied positively to this, with a "sure, no problem," although I'm not sure if she was referring to meeting me or the pancakes.

Now, how do you guys suggest I take it from here without messing it up unless I've already done so? I haven't seen her in at least 10 years, would it be a bad idea to take her to a movie or out to eat with some of my friends? Its a shame its winter because in the summer my friends and I are involved in some interesting activities and events where I can always take girls and it makes things much easier.

you want to talk about old times. you dont talk while watching movies. with your friends? usually not bad but in that case, id go for something fun like billard, bowling, where you can joke around and talk. later can still settle somewhere more calm.

as for the message, you brought up the topic of meeting and she said yes sure, which i guess was not for pancakes but for meet. so just give her 3 dates , write *i have time on 14, 25 and 27 evening, what about you?* done
