Hey guys, this is my first time posting here. I was just wondering what are some good everyday sneakers, and also where is a good place to find clothes that isn't expensive. I figured I should probably take care of this part first.

Your right, creating a new identity and style for yourself is a very good first step. It helps make you more apealing, and also helps you boost your confidence.

As for telling you what to get or where to shop, that would depend on your unique style. Id suggest going to the mall and trying on things you wouldnt normally wear, but really like. If possible take a GIRL, at least your age (dunt take your 7 year old sister), to help you pick things out.

Take a little time to learn some fashion related things, like what colors/patterns match. This will help you buy clothes that not only you like, but match.

Aside from your personal tastes, your body type will play into what you should wear too.

Hope this helps.

Welcome to the forums.

Well, for sneakers, I would look for some Nike Dunks or anything New Balance. Also, its good to have a few pairs of boots (Polo, Timberland, ...)for the winter. As for shirts , look at a few websites like Karmaloop, Metropark, ... I usually go by the mall and check out stores like American Eagle for jeans. Check some of the better department stores for nice dress pants (Dillards, Macy's, ...). Also, whenyou are picking out your clothes, ask for the oppinion of a woman or a gay guy. Hope this helps.

Remember, these are some of my personal favorites. My style may be different than yours. Pick out things that you like and feel comfortable wearing. No matter what you decide to buy, this is a great first step. Wearing clothes that you lke can be a real confidence booster. It also expresses your individuality and makes you a more unique person.

My recommendation for shoes would be maybe Nike Shox for everyday wear, Steve Madden for casual.

Clothing wise, like the other guys said choose your style, but if you're looking for something not too pricey you can probably go for Express Men, it really depends what you consider expensive.

Don't go to the mall...Find the most expensive men's store in town that's not a purely office wear type place. Go in and find a sales person and say you're going to some fashion event in a few weeks and you need to upgrade your look, and ask what they would recommend.

Ya don't have to buy anything, but they're going to have a very good idea of what works with your body type and what colors you'll look good in. Then go to the mall and try to find those colors/re-create that look...unless you actually have the money to spend.

(Then again, my caution against the mall might just be where I live...can never find anything even half way decent there)

nike sb dunks are the way to go, so much variety with them and they are cool looking

i shop american eagle for jeans because they fit the best for me

shirts i just stick with vintage style, nothing too tight, but not loose at all

id recommend (if your a decent fashion designer) going to a store like good will or salvation army and look for some material that would be cool to form into something unique, you can find some cool stuff there too, from suits to jeans, everything is cheap there, but you just gotta make some adjustments to your clothes, make it look more you
