I would like to discuss some routines for answering the question "are you single?"

I don't find this question addressed much since pua's tend to be single anyway I think. First let me start by saying that I am in an ltr and we are figuring out whether to take the next step or step off lol, so I try to keep it mostly honest with her. "mostly."

When it comes to game, being in a ltr makes it hard to learn what you need since you might not be able to sarge as much as you'd like. When I do meet new aquaintances I am often asked the single question and I tend to play it honest. I would prefer to continue doing that, but would like some banter to take the awkwardness out of it.

The only thing I've found is a joke of sorts where when asked if single, you reply, "nope, plural."

Where to go after that and other routines dealing with this issue need to be addressed. Plz hep community!

and yeah, if they really want to know never tell them if u're not single

In practice it could work if you tell them u have a girlfriend but it's mostly unlikely to happen.

The question "Are you single?" is either an outright DLV, or it's setting you up to walk right into another DLV. Sort of like saying, "Why can't you find a girlfriend like most guys?" Or when you respond as to why you are single, then you find yourself saying that most women don't like you or nobody wants to be with you, which is a bigtime DLV. I had this HB8 asked me that question. I told her I'd been single for like 6 months, then she asked if I had been dating during that time. I could tell she was trying to figure out if I was just a loser who couldn't find himself a woman, or if there was a valid reason for me being single.

Like I always say, turn the DLV into DHV. Tell them you are finally single after only recently coming out of a bad relationship. Tell them you are not looking for a girlfriend right now because you are focusing on some personal goals, like work, sports, etc. You obviously want to make it known that you are still on the market and are single, but you don't want to make yourself look bad in the process.
