Fear is a powerful motivator. Anything motivated by fear is usually pointing in the wrong direction. When you are doing something for a woman, first ask if you are doing it out of fear. If the answer is yes, do not do it. Challenge your fear. Do the opposite. Think before you take action.

I agree with what you are saying completely. You shouldn't allow yourself to be motivated out of fear. Also, you shouldn't allow yourself to be motivated just because you are approval seeking. Many men feel that they are the "nice guy" and must be the "nice guy" regardless of the circumstances. These approval seeking, "nice guy" types have the belief that they are better than everyone else because they are so nice to others. So if you are doing things just to be approval seeking, or the "nice guy" stop it! I'm not saying be an asshole, but I am saying "Be the exception to the rule!" as any good pickup artist is. 8)

I don't agree for all cases, bcuz men fear pick ups but they do it anyway and thats how it is. You just gotta use your better judgement...

Right, but what he's saying is women ask you to do something, you shouldn't be motivated out of fear. Fear as a motivator often does lead you down the wrong path. Fear doesn't motivate me to pick up women. I want a relationship, and a change in my life. That's what motivates me to approach women. However, fear is just an emotion that you feel in the process. Thus, fear is not the motivator for approaching. I don't fear the forum kicking my ass for not approaching. :wink:

Well besides his example with women, its very vague what he means.

We don't break the law for fear of prison (anal rapidge) so you sometimes being motivated by fear is good. Akso it sounds like he's making a general stament here about life, and not just talking about women

Who fears women? if you fear a woman you should slap yourself...that goes withought saying. So I don't like this example, neccesarily.

Sounds like he's speaking in the terms of LIFE in general now unclear exactly what he means. Thats why I say in some cases, but not all.

Example:
Oh, she's mad at me, and I've said I'm sorry. I should call her and tell her I love her. Well, you can act out of fear and call her and tell her you lover her, but why? You're doing it out of fear. You're putting the spotlight on yourself and causing her to focus on her anger towards you. You're not allowing her to feel all the other emotions that would work for you.
