I've been sorta of battling with the dichotomy of the whole Nice Guy vs. Douchebag approach ever since I was introduced to the PUA community. Honestly, I am your typical nice guy and and when I was younger, it got we nowhere but LBJF. When, I learn't about putting myself first, and starting to tease and be playful with women. I saw a huge difference.

When translating this mentality to Online Game I've sort of hit a wall. Let me begin by saying the most important thing to do wether its Online Game or Game in general is to "READ YOUR MARK!" Know who your talking to and read the signs before your embark on the road. When reading these girls' profiles I think I can be a decent judge of character in judging whether I'm dealing with:

1. A PRETENTIOUS HB who going to put up a bitch shield and a half before I get anywhere with.

OR:

2. A GENUINE GOOD LOOKING GIRL that's just looking for a nice guy to go out with and have some fun.

I'd gladly fuck the shit outta both. But realistically I'm more after the 2nd option. Like most of you... I hope.

Some of the tells I can differentiate the two are usually are the photos and things they write in their profiles. In my relatively short experience with Online Game I started off with the "moral high road" something I believed would still separate myself from the pack.

Such as:

Look, its obvious your a good looking girl and probably get several messages a day from a "Mike" or "Chad" telling you just that. I could start this message one of two ways, by retracing the footsteps of those douchebags and tell you something you already know, such as, I think you have the most amazing eyes or a cute smile. Or tell, you something you dont. I'm not one of those run of the mill ***holes on here just out to get something. I genuinely just want to get to know you. If your content with the first way, then hey, I hope Mike or Chad treats you well. If not, say hi.

This has worked to some degree..

But funny enough, telling a girl she had a big forehead or telling some chick she would be cute without so much make up on was a lot more efficient and got an answer a lot quicker then the latter. I think the theory is, for these hot chicks getting 20 messages a day from Mike or Chad you have to bait/neg/tease whatever you want to call it and hope they take it in a joking matter and then try to FLIP them afterwards.

It doesn't have to be a neg or tease, you just have to stand out and hook her in some way. The first message you send isn't actually that uncommon and it has zero hook, she will only respond if she looks at your profile and is genuinely interested. And considering the huge number of options she has and is probably already in conversation with she'll only message you if she's REALLY interested or really bored.

The reason the negs work is because she then feels like she has to defend herself so they hook her into starting a conversation. Its not the only way to make her talk, its just the simplest one.

Also longer messages can sometimes be deleted without her even bothering to read them. When she has 20 in her inbox she doesn't wanna read an essay, or even a paragraph sometimes.

What sort of advice can you give me to open women on these websites without necessarily having to drop a bomb, as well as, still maintain a very original intro, to separate myself from the pack of douchebagry and AFC that is POF or OKC.

That first message has several huge DLVs in it. You come off as a little bitter and threatened by the competition and you're even considering that she might choose the other guys over you. The only person who would write that is bitter and frustrated from lack of success. It also doesn't give her a reason to reply back..."say hi"?
