I agree with the principles of that, however, there is an exception. Honesty is not the best approach if the information you provide them is damning to your cause. For instance, you could be honest and tell her that you are a garbage man, but she's not going to bother continuing getting to know you. Women will tell guys they are attracted to honesty because NOBODY wants to be lied to. But the truth is that they will punish you mercilessly for being honest simply because what you've said is something they dislike. That's why I try to be honest about all the good things and all the minor bad things that women will overlook. But if I feel the item in question would be highly frowned upon, I will lie through my teeth right to her face. You pretty much have to.

Yes, you definitely don't want to say anything that might hurt your chances. But those are things you don't discuss on your initial approach. But, one day she might find out your a garbage man. Then what? Sure maybe it's enough to get laid, but if you're looking for a girlfriend, no matter what the case I highly suggest you tell the truth. When it comes to being a garbage man, fuck it, own up and be passionate about it. Don't just say, "well um, I'm a garbage man". BE CONFIDENT.
