I'm a nuclear chemist knowing a thing or two about radiation my advice would be to take it easy with the sunbeds because, unlike the real suntanning, you don't have a several tens of kilometers thick SPAM to screen the dangerous part of the UV light. Just keep the sessions only a few minutes long each and definitely use a sunscreen because there is a risk of skin cancer. You can find sunscreen lotions specially designed for UV beds.
