Seriously... I will write some kind of bot that will snoop around the forums, and each time it finds anything relevant to this stupid, counterproductive rating system it will post this message:

Why do you rate women? Why is it necessary? How does it improve your game? The answers are: "Because you were told to" for the first few questions, and for the last one: "Not in any way". I stick to this scale system:

1) There are women I'd like to get to know

2) There are women I don't want to get to know.

Period. And this doesn't include only appearance. One hot-ass babe can immediately throw herself in the second group if she behaves irritatingly. And also, a less attractive girl can in fact crawl herself up to the first group if she is intelligent, cute, humorous, and adventurous enough.

Rating, at least for me, isn't about the ego at all.
If I'd rate someone, it would be to establish the priorities. It's about "Which one do I fancy more?" when it comes to choosing between 2 or more girls, and you can't have them all. It's just that, helping with deciding. I don't take it as judging someone.

Also, to come back to the OP... I take the most beautiful (in every way) girl I ever saw/met and make her 9.5. I take most dreadful (in every way) girl I ever saw/met and make her 1.5. That's how I make my 1 to 10 rating scale.
So yeah, I guess I never saw a 1 because she automatically becomes 1.5.

Technically incorrect, the formulation of preferences precedes ranking (read any microeconomics book if you don't believe me). The rating is an expression of your preferences, so before you can even give them a rating you must have already chosen which girl you fancy more
