I forever struggle with timing of making contact and consulting with other guys usually sobers me up.

I do over think shit, I know, and girls do flake on me often.

Anyway. I have currently one on the go, not worth elaborating on, and an 8 and a 9 that I'm chasing.

9 met on the tram last Friday. Involved her into a conversation I was having with another strange and number closed for "coffee". At the moment we are just locking in time over txt for Saturday arvo drink. Pretty average result, i know.

8 met today at an expo we were doing. Her stall was across the isle from mine. She is in high heels, tight beige pants and navy blue sleeveless blouse. Kept on looking over at me, eventually caught her away from colleagues, she gave opportunity to start conversation, we talked shit about how hot it is inside and I offered lunch (offices close together). She wrote number down on my business card. Largely ignored her for the rest of the day.

8 pm me: "Congratulations surviving the heat today HB, nice meeting you but no brownie points for not referring anyone back to out stall:P dimaquality"

9 pm HB: "Congratulations to u for surviving the heat and it was a long day im very tired...haha im sorry i will keep your product in mind..it was nice meeting you also "

Booyaka, good response. NOW WHAT? Do I send back something warm and fuzzy? or leave till tomorrow? or 2 days?

No more beating around the bush. Tell her you think she's cool and ask her out on a date. Get right to it. Text her tomorrow and say:

"Hey you! How's your day going?"

Let her respond, then say:

"Well I think we need to go on a date next week what's your schedule like?"

If she is interested in you she will respond properly. If not, then there was nothing you can do because she may see you as a business contact.

HB: "Hey, good very busy today how's your day going?"
(1 hour 45 minutes)
DQ: "Well I think we need to go on a date next week what's your schedule like?"
(2.5 hours)
HB: "I'm free Tuesday for lunch?"
(2 hours 25 minutes)
DQ: "Tuesday sounds good. Have a nice Friday nite:)"
(20 minutes)
HB: "Great looking forward to it.. enjoy your night"

Lunch date *yawn* but at least our intentions are clear.
