Something happened this new years at a party that bothered me, somewhat.

See, i was hanging out at said party with my bros and some girls we were with, when this guy starts talking to these girls. for most of the night i didn't think anything of it, but then this guy rolls off and comes back with an opinion thread for the girls with us. at this very moment me and my brother both catch each others eyes and we both know that this guy is using the Mystery Method (why is this method so popular? there are different methods, aren't there?).

after this happens we just smile at the guy and start dropping hints that we know exactly what he's doing. his response (probably only caught by me and my brother, because we looked for it) proved to us even more that our suspicions were correct.

he kept on going and all i could think about is not laughing because i could see his every move before he made it. at one point he looked at me and said it looked like i was about to rock him in the face. i responded by laughing and giving him a friendly pat on the shoulder (didn't want to DLV by acting offended or intimidated)

now, we left that night with the girls. but what if this guy was better? what if the girls left with him?

i don't really remember what we did, or if i even did anything to disarm them (picking up wasn't the goal of the night, so i was pretty wasted to remember anything) but seeing as how they didn't do any damage i assume we did ok.

now here is an actual question now. when a good, possibly better pickup artist comes along after your targets, whats one supposed to do to disarm them? I for one don't like the idea of all my efforts going down the shitter because someone else tries harder while i'm focused on other, more important things.

Is there honor amoung thieves? Is the essential question you are asking. Well, with you wings there should be, however, all you can do is screw up his attempts. If you recognize the opener you can burn them. If not you could say something like, "What are you going to do now, neg us and bore us with your stories!" I've shot down a couple of guys while I was out, and other times I did it gently. One guy was obviously new, and I let him open, run ESP on me, and then I whispered in his ear I was PUA and for him to politely go to another set.

My solution is this. If somebody comes up to try to steal my girls I do different things depending on who they are. AFC: Just use some AMOG destroyer or just run the set. They might even start to like you. rAFC: Run your game as usual and overly clear, hopefully he will recognize the canned material and negs and take the hint! PUA: This guy is a real bastard, either make him your wing and share the set... Thats lame. Or just tell him, hey, my open, my set!
The HBs will not know what you talk about but he will and hopefully respect that.

If I go into a set run by another PUA, I try to politely and discreetely eject, I NEVER try to steal another PUAs sets! Code of honor man!

If you ARE real mPUA, you will hardly ever get into position where some other guy enters and start gaming your set. Why?

Cause, if you are master (trained PUA or natural) your game should be noticed and catched by everyone around. How? By making your set laugh out loud, kino-ing you, you kino-ing them, taking up lot of space, showing Alpha body language, if you have wings they are also doing the sam things, creating impression of almost tribal behaviour..... and if somebody even then tries to engage, you can just hype everything more up, especially kino in a protective way, hugging you target/targets, Amoging intruder by targeting his inner game, and whatever he does, you can`t show it has any effect on you. You simply MUST perserve your Alpha frame!
