A female friend in my inner circle wants me to contact a hot friend of hers. She is playing a bit of match maker. The target in question is hot AND successful. I have her as a face book friend but haven't made an approach yet. The conundrum is she has insight into my personality through my friend. She has seen all my rantings on face book about politics, religion, and other such intellectual topics and has even commented through my friend.

What would be the best way to approach under these particular circumstances?

I don't like to front. I like to be myself because women respond well to my personality. I'm friendly, funny, and tend to be the life of the party. But that is usually when I am in groups. One on one I tend to falter.

If your friend is suggesting you meet this girl then she knows the girl is already interested in you. Suggest to your friend that yall all meet out somewhere in a small group and then isolate and escalate with this girl. This will help with your initial DHV and reduce your AA in the beginning.
