Hi guys I am new here, I would like your advice on whether it is acceptable to use smilies on facebook in the situation below:

I am travelling eastern Europe: I meet 2 girls sarging (I know only 2 but I am still learning...)
They add me on facebook, I throw a few negs their way in person and set everything up, I get the doggy dinner bowl eyes, 1 girl tries to give me the double cheek kiss (apparently standard here) As she goes to the second cheek I reel back and say "woahhh greedy steady on" Probably pretty standard line but whatever.

TO THE POINT:
There is a language barrier, the girls english is understandable but much to be desired... whilst negging and teasing I have to really focus on my body language so as to cement the fact I am joking... It was a challenge picking them up because I had to be more body language focused which I am not great at, I am usually a very talkative jokey playful guy.

My question is: In this situation is it ok to use smiley on facebook to reinforce my meaning?

Hmmm, I guess that's understandable. I rarely use smiley faces because they make me feel like a smashed box of tasty chocolates. But if it comes to the point where they're not getting sarcasm, then I guess a smiley would be suggested. Only on the negs though, don't be like "You're coming out with me tonight " Every time I used a smiley I could feel my testicles retract.
