So much of what we learn and do in PUA is about our subconscious and inner mentality, I felt that I should start a thread to address this. Feel free to share your stories, as I believe we could learn a lot from each other by comparing and analyzing our experiences.
Here is mine:
I have been having dreams of losing my teeth ever since early November.

It is a frightening feeling, let me tell you. I have never had problems with my teeth, drank my daily glass of milk as a child, never had braces or cavities. But in my dreams I see them, feel them breaking, dissolving, falling out, with me helpless to stop them.
It has become so common that sometimes, when I dream this, I know it's a dream and can literally will myself out of REM sleep and into a cold sweat.
If this is freaking you out, don't worry. I just found out that alongside dreams of flying, falling, and public nudity, dreams of losing teeth are actually quite common. After a little research, a commonly agreed upon answer or interpretation for this type of dream is a fear or anticipation of transition that is taking place. The experts in this field feel that it is important to interpret the dream based on symbolisms, so while losing teeth symbolizes a transition in real life from child to adult to elder, in our dreams it symbolizes a metamorphosis of our mental and emotional constitution.
I have undertaken two significant changes since early November. 1) Resume working out again to regain my football era physique, and 2) study the pickup arts. The way I see it---and bear with me while I take this leap of logic and faith---I am transitioning from AFC to PUA, on both a conscious and subconscious level. I am slowly rewiring my brain to be more confident, more self assured, and more socially competent.
Awesome.
To those of you undertaking the journey of transitioning into a PUA, sleep tight and may you too lose your teeth in your dreams
