A girl at my work has been calling me by my full name. Now I have a nick name around my friends, and a nickname at work(Matt). She knows both of the names which I'm normally called but recently she started calling me Matthew and only matthew nothing else. Now I was gaming this girl a little at one time, it seemed like she wasn't interested so I moved on(Thanks for the advise guys). I haven't talked to or even seen her in about a month, but was forced to work with her the last few days.


She has been acting very different around me the last few days, always saying Hi and bye, playful kicking ect.., and calling me by my full name.


Now I know most of the things I described are IOI's, but I haven't heard anything about names yet.

I've got to say the power of a freeze out is insane. Regardless of romantic aspect, it's at least made her enjoyable to work with.

i would believe it is an IOI, it is something different, and makes her stand out not to mention she uses it as a great attention drawer, as in most instances im sure u look or turn around?

Yea you should run some routines on her and demonstrate some value, it's hard to tell iff you could consider that an IOI. You have to take tonality into account as well as her facial expressions and other body language. I could say though don't be afraid to game her.

As long as she's not saying it in a sarcastic way and using it to bug you, then it is most likely an IOI.

Id add to this that even if she does use it to annoy you that its a different kind of IOI. If she does it to annoy you, id come up with a name for her anyway (i give nicknames to all the girls i game). If she annoys you come up for one that would annoy her, but not insult her.

She is giving you the chance to develop playful banter with her, and probably saying it that way to get your attention.

Some ideas...

Situational name - sick (Sniffles)
Racially derived - Hispanic (Chica)
Trait derived - Blonde (Goldy locks)

Avoid things like babe...although with one of my targets sometimes i switch it up, mostly ill use Chica, then sometimes ill use honey, sweety, sugar...some of these names have connotations to them and should be used in certain situations.
