I am pretty much brand new to the game so I still have a ways to go.

I am University so the question I have is college game related.
I'm currently establishing myself in a few social circles whilst also working out and improving my confidence in myself.

Now the issue I have is specifically what I do at University. I'm studying Chemistry.

Now in almost any conversation with girls at uni pretty early on they will ask "oh what are you studying?" Its not something that can be avoided so I need to learn how to not let it affect my approach,

That is where the hurdle is. The second I say what I study at least half girls are visibly disappointed and then disinterested. Hell most of those girls don't even try and hide it. The rest answer with a snarky comment based upon intelligence. Occasionally I get the odd hook and find a girl who is interested but obviously they aren't the problem.

So what can I do to turn the snarky girls around after they find out what I do? I'm not interested in the girls who look totally disinterested, I figure I need to more effectively DHV before I try and tackle them.
