As we all know, it doesn't matter
what you say, as long as you say it in the right way. I try to be cocky/funny which seems to work out for me pretty okay.
Here are some random openers I've used over the years which started off as a way to amuse myself but ended up getting the girl:
'Hey I was wondering, is that your real hair or are you wearing a wig?' (Still can't believe this one worked.)
"Hurting" my foot in front of her and asking if she is a doctor by any chance. (Not a very high ratio, had a lot of fun with it though.)
'What's your favourite vegetable?' (One of my favourites.)
'Researchers found out that one out of three girls carry chocolate in their purse when they go out. Do you think this is true?' (Of course researchers haven't researched this but I found out myself girls in my area tend to carry chocolate when they're out. If they do have chocolate on them it's guaranteed for a laugh, if they don't you can discuss what kind of people would take candy with them when they go clubbing.)
Call a girl [
insert random female name here] and ask her if she remembers you since you were in elementary school together. When she proceeds proving you wrong, call her a liar and ask her why on earth she would change her name and now lie to you. (This one is
not recommended. Most of the times it didn't work but the odd one out found it hilarious.)
If I take a little more time I'm sure I can think of more. It's really about how you say things. Whatever comes out of your mouth is secondary. As long as the primary (posture, eye-contact, tonality of your voice, your looks, etcetera you know how it works) is on par they will like you. (You can go too far of course, don't forget that.)
