Going to keep this quite short and to the point as i don't want to ramble on for too long.

The situation is basicly that there is this girl that i'm interested in that i knew from school. The thing is, i've not seen her/talked to her in a few years because she moved away for university. I've recently found her on facebook again, and i want to make a move but not certain on how to proceed without looking desperate or creepy.

During school, we didn't talk too much, but we did go out together a few times but i didn't consider making a move then which i regret!

As i said, she moved away. Not TOO far, but i'm not sure how'd she'd be if i wanted to meet up with her. Would take abit of effort. Saying that - being in a relationship with that distance would be fine, its just getting over the first hurdle.

I was thinking of messaging her on facebook just initially, and then trying to score her number from it asap. Just not too sure how to play it.

Was thinking something like "Alright stranger?, remember me? long time no speak!" then seeing how it goes.

Any advice?

you said you guys have been out a few times, just ask for her number and call her a few days after and say you're going out maybe she want to come. just dont say you like her over facebook or phone.
