Hey guys.

I want to open this girl who was born in a car on a street (was in her profile). I thought that was pretty interesting fact and wanna start a conversation with something smart and witty opener. Any ideas?

If it was me I would say something to regarding cars and racing being my hobby and feeling envious that she was born into it... EG. Hey I'm____ I couldn't help but notice your profile because you are cute but after that I liked what you had to say, I wish I could say I was born in a car, cars and racing are my passion and it would be a cool thing to add to resume but I was born in a hospital because thats the right way to do it, thanks mom.... It's different and shows that you read her profile, plus it's relatively witty. I'd go for that, I prefer 'Just curious,' as opposed to 'Quick question' though, cause it makes it look like you're sub-consciously saying 'this won't take long, i promise', which seems apologetic.

Be yourself and try and be unique, go for it.

Regarding everyone mentioning the born in the car thing, I appreciate what you're saying, but do you seriously think that 99% of people who message girls read their profiles?

Yes, a fair amount of people will probably message her mentioning the car, but the vast majority won't even mention anything about her, or even read her profile.

I've seen girls' POF inbox's previously, and i've seen people say 'i'm not going to mention this because I bet everyone is' tonnes of times. To me it comes across as desperate to stand out, suggests the girl is getting tonnes and tonnes of messages and therefore puts her on a pederstool. Why not just ignore the car thing altogether and think of something witty if you want to 'not follow the crowd'?

Fair point. I never used a situational opener online. It's just not worth it for me. My game was shooting up my own canned opener to as my chicks that could fall in the >="cute" category as possible. And then work on those who replied and gave off a good vibe.

And, yes, I do see your point. My game would be to use a canned opener, or just make up something totally silly implausible if I really had to check her profile. But it's me. My online game was mostly based on being funny and amusingly sexual. And of course, it mostly attracted funny high-sex-drive chicks, which is what I wanted in the first place.
