Ok guys, I got my first number close - sweet - will post a field rep later. However I am really not sure what to do next. I had only been chatting to the girl for about 20 mins so no massive connection there - but we have some stuff in common.

Im thinking of texting her tomorrow (a good post suggested not leaving it too long as dont want her to forget who I am), but once some txt banter has been initiated should I ask her out round my part of town, me to her, a neutral spot, a pub, cinema, the possibilities are endless, not even sure where to begin.

The following two pieces of info might help with your suggestions, she is a student so I dont think she is cash rich, and im not after a proper relationship out of this, just a laugh and hopefully some sex,

I like to text them a couple of minutes after I've got a number, potentially even while I'm still with them. That will just be a text along the lines of 'It was nice to meet you' or 'guess who?' or anything like that and usually it doesn't lead to anything, but if a conversation appears out of it then I would say roll with it. If they don't reply I would spark up the conversation later.And you spoke to her for 20minutes so that's enough time to build a certain amount of rapport and probably some personal jokes so if it was me when it came to meeting up again I think I would make a phone call, but then again I would always make a phone call as i'm not a fan of texting, it takes too long to get a point across that could've been said in 10 seconds on the phone. I understand it is necessary for bridging and whatnot but for a date I would call.

Just text, show genuine interest, what does she do, what are her passions, where is she going in life?
Make her feel like she can confide in you, that's how you earn trust, and trust earns... Uhmm... Whatever you want...
