Actually, I use cocky funny in Instant Messenger conversations all the time.
You just have to know how to do it right... since you can't use vocal tonality.

And although I've never used them myself,
I'm sure there are techniques usable in those dating websites.
Only putting certain information in your profile...
being ridiculously specific about the kind of girl you're looking for,
or if you're into this kind of stuff, using NLP patterning (I'm not into that).

But yeah, for most purposes, magicaljet is right, the forum focuses primarily on game out in the field.

I was always wondering where I can find this information to use in my profile..

and I always like to use myspace not only AIM for the game...

Certain technique works 4 me when I make fun of the girl on her picures and then I apologize and tell her to start from scratch... this probably doesnt sound too bright but the method works...

I'm not an expert on it... maybe try posting something about myspace in the online section of our forum. I'm sure everybody's got some ideas... I mean, it seems like everyone has a myspace these days, so we should all have some basic ideas on what works and what doesn't.

I just try to make my profile interesting.
I always integrate as much cocky funny as possible (duh).
I also always try to emphasize my passions (girls seem to have a genuine interest in guys who has a true passion for something... mine's music).
I talk about liking to travel, adventure, but at the same time, the simple life.
But I can't stress the cocky funny enough.

Uhm... other than that, in the "Who I'd like to meet" section,
I always talk about my dream girl, but then I disqualify certain things too.
I get absolutely ridiculous with it...
such as saying "only brunettes, blondes? oh no. no no no."

What this does is, if you generate interest with a good overall profile,
girls will look at this and go, "wow, he really knows what he wants."
It's a show of higher status..... most people are careless, you're specific.

And, with my previous example, the blonde's who catch interest go,
"What's the matter with blonde girls?"
It hooks them even more, cause it'll strike a nerve.
Then you can use it as a barrier to create tension...
"Wow, you're good looking and funny, I would so date you... it's just too bad you're blonde."

(Obviously nothing is fool proof... the girls who have extreme insecurities may look at your specifics and go "I don't stand a chance" and that's it. But the girls with a level head on their shoulders will respond.)

One more key point (especially with dating websites).
If you want to pick up good looking girls, you're going to have to initiate things, most of the time.
The really good looking girls get bombarded constantly by creepy guys, or idiots.
They don't go searching for guys, they're too busy filtering out who's come to them.
You'll have to initiate, just like the real world, lol.

If you end up starting the myspace thread, I'll repost this in it, if it's helpful.
