Usually I get a decent response rate with messaging even a bare bones profile but this is the very first chick i messaged on pof with a blank profile except for first date "be unique and yourself " Just a pic of her in a blue tank with a pout/smile. She is a solid 7. I have a goofy profile pic and felt like being balls off the wall random.

Bahahahahahaha this is the first message that literally made me crack up mainly because I'm just imagining your voice while saying tell me about your cats.

I don't have any cats or pets at the moment. If I get one you will totally be the first person I let know.

My single advice is be genuinely curious.

If you took that 'opener' because you saw someone else using it then it will never work for you.

The fact that you don't have anything else to say after is a sign of disaster, she will see right through your shit and repel.

My advice is hit her up with a line that you are actually curious to know more about and sprinkle a bit of humour on it because you find it funny and you know it will make her laugh. Not because your seeking a reaction so you can get to the next stage.
