Hi, As thiseas said,it has more to do with digestion.Bad breath is the result of
gas rising from the stomach and intestines because food is decaying and digestive
system is not moving these products fast enough out of the body.
If you are older your digestive powers are weaker. It is also because meat products are slower to break down or digest. The western diet is meat heavy.
Eating more greens is also a better option and more healthy if you want to avoid cancer.
Your bowel movements should be daily.Drink more water as it will soften the solid waste and easier to move through the gut. There are foods to detox and
kill bacteria.Ginger, garlic, cinnamon all have antiseptic properties.Try ginger tea or
cinnamon. Eat 3 to 6 cloves of garlic for up to 4 days. Note that store bought garlic
cannot be eaten raw like freshly picked garlic.Add them in cooking.
Contrary to popular belief eating garlic daily but not in large quantity as above
is good for health maintenance.Fruits are also good for fibre and vitamins.Garlic also contains vitamin C. It will take some time before your breath will smell sweet
again if you change your dietary habits. Good luck. Also reduce fatty foods intake
