I totally lack humor via texting. I can sort of pull it off in longer messages on these sites but I have trouble knowing what interesting and or funny things to text a girl from day to day to at least initially get her attention. I know girls who are on these dating sites have probably given out their numbers to dozens of men so I want to stand out and move to the next stage (meeting her).

I do sometimes meet the girls but my success rate isn't what it could be and I'm not meeting the hotter girls I'm meeting girls closer to average usually.

What I'm asking is: what are some engaging light things to text a girl. I feel I'm always just asking them 21 questions and being too heavy and serious.

What are you doing that allows you to get their number? Unless you are pretty damn attractive most girls will flake at the "Can I get your Number"

Okay well if I'm being honest instead of trying to brag really it's just quantity over quality. I send copy/paste messages to maybe 70 girls, get responses from 15 and get numbers from 5-8. How do I get their numbers, I just talk about their interests and ask them what they are looking for. Talk to them about what they are doing every day for maybe three days then just say that it's easier to text then to talk on the site and they give me their number. Usually I can tell if the girl is interested enough to give number.

I'm working on fixing two things right now. 1) talking to girls who are more attractive than a 6 on a scale 1-10.

2) saying actually interesting and fun things to girls once I get their number. Retired Rodeo man suggested I sext and talk more sexual to girls. I always assume the girls who are looking for dating over sex don't like that but I'm sure they do I just need to know how to go about it without them playing the offended/turned off card.

We all hate to acknowledge this, however this HB will be txting multiple men on a daily basis, if you lack humour via txting then try to minimise it, sending original boring messags to her will get 9/10 to flake on you straight away.

After getting there number of pof, try + seal a deal within the next day or 2 with a date via txting.

This minimises the chance of the girl flaking + also gets you laid quicker

I am pretty sure what RR is stating when he says "more sexual" is to work your way into sexual conversations. Such as making a statement that could be taken Sexually/Non-Sexually and then let her mind wander about it for a bit.

Throw out some innuendos and then see how she responds. Remember, unless she is DTF right away you want to push/pull with sexual text messages. Basically dangle that carrott in front of her face, but keep it just a bit out of reach.
