A Sticking Point or SP is an issue you CONSISTENTLY run into.

It is NOT a point where you get stuck with ONE SPECIFIC GIRL.

A Sticking Point is:
Quote:
I keep getting LMR whenever I bring girls back to my place. This has happened at least 10 times already! What am I doing wrong?
A Sticking Point is NOT:
Quote:
I got LMR with this one girl! What do I do?
IT IS AGAINST THIS BOARD'S RULES TO POST THREADS ABOUT JUST ONE GIRL
If you have not already gone out and practiced enough to have a real Sticking Point from meeting an ABUNDANCE of women, YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO POST HERE.

Guys,

This might be a long post :

I consider myself to be a decent looking guy. Not model standard by any means, but certainly not too bad!

I have a lot of self confidence, I'm outgoing, sociable, and girls and guys always have fun in my presence. I have a vast social circle and am pretty well known around town.

The MAJOR problem is that I've had a physical disability since birth. I believe that this is the only thing stopping me getting the girls I want. Not to brag, but I honestly believe I have all the qualities and attributes that matter most when it comes to getting girls, but 99% of girls can't seem to see past the disability. My physical problems honestly aren't a problem for ME, but they are for the ladies. Hell, I've even seen girls eye fuck me in bars when I've been sitting down and they can't see my crutches, only for the expression on their faces to change dramatically as soon as they see that I'm disabled! Honestly!

All this stuff about not caring what other people think/be confident/ it's all in your head, etc? Well I just don't believe it's true in my case. I genuinely love my life and I DON'T give a shit what people think about me! But girls just see it as some kind of barrier.

I know that disabled people can have gaming success, that's not the issue here. Good luck to them and everybody else! But there is no escaping the fact that it's SO much harder for disabled people to get girls than for able-bodied people in general.

Like I said, I have a lot of the "core attributes" to get women, and I think I have a great attitude to life. I graduated from a reputable university, and in spite of my physical difficulties, I then moved abroad to live and work.

I've made a success of my life where many people might have given up. I love my life, but the lack of success with women is the one MASSIVE piece of the puzzle that is missing!

I think that because of my disability, women just ASSUME that I'm not "sexual". This is the one thing which I think I maybe need to work on most. But that aside, it's all just so frustrating!

Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks fellas!

Long rant over!

Hey man,

Yeah, I joke about myself fairly often! For example, when a hot girl is at the bar next to me, I might say something like :

"Hi. You're kinda cute so I just wanted to say hi. Oh, and by the way, your legs are ALMOST as sexy as mine!"

or :

"Hey. Let's have a dance-off later tonight! I'm going freestyle!"

That kind of thing.

1. Sean Stevenson is a dating counselor who... not to be rude... is a funny looking midget in a wheel chair. Not only is he a great guy but he pulls the ladies like no tomorrow.

2. A female friend of mine just bought a house with a fellow who is also in a wheel chair.

Thanks for all the replies so far guys, they're all very encouraging!

Tony King, I think I'll give some of your ideas a go! Haha! Thanks for that!

With regard to how girls actually react to my jokes, it kinda depends on the girl I suppose. Most of them laugh and seem to admire the fact that I don't give a shit & am brave enough to say that sort of thing to them. Others sometimes look kinda weirded out and/or just down have a sense of humour and are uptight. In which case I drop them faster than I drop my canes in a stumbling drunken mess on the way home from the bar (sometimes!)

This makes me think of the time I met a polyamorous quadruple amputee (along with his wife and girlfriend) at a swinger's party. He was a comedian and a gave speeches about his disability for a living. He was pretty cool.

Apparently, being a quadruple amputee gets him mad attraction with certain types of women. He was telling me about some of the weirder e-mails / solicitations he's gotten in the past. I just figure that if a guy who has no arms or legs can handle two women, then everyone else should be able to manage at least one.

Also, there are probably women out there who have a thing for guys in wheelchairs.
