First post so hello all.

About me:
24 y/o, in graduate school, and probably an 8.5-9/10 in the looks department.

I think in most areas I am doing quite well. I dress well, I've been told by many women I am very good looking, tall & tan, I'm athletic, come from an excellent family, and will be working in a field where the money will be better than good.

I have had 2 serious relationships each lasting around 2 yrs. I met these women through friends so I didn't really have to work hard to get them.

Now that I am in school and single I don't know how to meet women. My program is small with nobody I am interested in, I don't have a lot of time do go to clubs and when my classmates go out it is usually a dive bar.

What I ultimately hope to gain from talking to people on here is a girl I am truly interested in and may wish to spend the rest of my life with. Not someone I met out of convenience. Perhaps along the way I will learn how to interact better with people of all ages, male or female.

Why I need help:
1) I am not terribly talkative, and am not very energetic. I say things when I have something to say, I cant talk endlessly about things.
2) I don't smile as often as others.
3) As with most, afraid of rejection and afraid of approaching random people.
4) I understand openers and such but I worry I do not have the social skills to continue from that point. I feel like I could do the opener but then I would get stuck there.
5) I think most of this stems from a lack of confidence. I don't know why I am not confident. I am physically attractive, very well educated, etc. I constantly worry about what people think of me or what they think about the stuff I say.

Where should I start? I have read some threads on here. I have read The Game. There is so much information out there I just don't know where to start.

Getting a job in retail is not going to be an option for me. Truthfully, about the only social interaction I have is with my classmates. I just have so little time. It's not hard for me to carry on conversations with these people because I know them and they are my friends. Starting from scratch is a completely different story though.

i agree with CC. talk to every one you see even if it only lasts for 30 seconds. it gets easier every time you do it.
