What do you think? Do looks count more on a dating site than in pub or club pickup?

I defiantly think they do especially on sites like pof that is packed with choice for the girls. Iv gotten to the point where I think my profile text is semi-decent and I send out non needy cocky & funny messages which gets the girls to at least view my profile. But very few leave a reply, My pictures arnt great but they are not bad and they show me in social situations having a good time, with girls etc..... I think there is so much choice on pof that they become super picky and next you for reasons like ah he's not tall enough for me or he's not muscular enough and so on where if they met me in social situation and I could convey some personality they would probably find me reasonably attractive ...

Looks make a big difference on dating sites, much more than in real life. In a club you are immediately different from every other guy because you have had the balls to go up to her and talk to her. Any chump can send her a message. You can show you lightening fast razor sharp with in coversating, you cant do it via message. Its hard to charm online.

I have changed my profile online a few times. When my pics are of me doing fun things in various places around the world I get lots of interest from girls in thier 20's. When i have a pic of me looking like an underwear model i get interest from older women above the mid 30's. It crazy how much of a difference it makes.

I think younger girls think 'this guy is arrogant and vain' when you have super posey pics and older women think 'this is what I want to fuck'.

Hmm I'm pretty buff and body-build maybe i should try that lol
