Hey folks, Shepard here, and I'm wondering if there's any general rules of thumb on the issue of women you've closed with and adding them on facebook. On one hand, I can see that it might help with social proof when she logs in and sees that you know other hot women, yet on the other, I can see it like putting numbers in a folder: it's nice to have, but what are the chances that all of them will stick?

Just wondering.

I know what you mean. I think Facebook gives you the potential for social proof, preselection, dhv's (and unfortunately dlv's), but the chances of any FB closes sticking and becomming useful other than another hot "friend" is just up to chance and other factors. I FB closed with a girl I met yesterday who I had great rapport with. The only reason I feel like I didn't get a number is because she is in what appears to be a strong relationship. In this situation I kindof feel I've hit a dead end. The question seems to be how to proceed?
I poked her an hour or two after we met and there hasn't been a response yet. I'm thinking I should wait another day or two before I send a follow up message. Ultimately, I would like to convert this girl/stranger into a useful relationship. Ofcourse I want to f-close her or make her mine, but on the other hand I respect a healthy relationship and I don't want to attempt to destroy that for them. At the least having her as a friend, a pivot, or someone to talk to and learn from would be good too. This could also be an opportunity to develop more of a social circle. If anyone has any thoughts on how to proceed they would be most appreciated, also I can provide a field report to anyone that would be interested in hearing.

I agree with Justin also.

It's a massive chance at flipping the pre-selction switch as the girl see other girls posting on your wall, etc.

To me,it's a jinx issue(as you eluded to).

Whenever I add chics to FB,they end up just being that(FB friends). That's why I don't advocate Facebook gaming.
