Hi guys, just thought i'd give you a run down of last night to get some feedback and maybe some pointers.

This is my first field report so be nice and constructive.

Met up with my friend and a girlfriend for a few drinks at a local bar. I had the intention of using her as a pivot to get more attention and prequalify myself with other potential girls. She is loud and bubbly and not bad looking either, but just a friend.

The guy who came with me, was not my wing and i did not explain my game to him. I was more using him as a tool to look more confident and alpha, as his game pretty much sucks and he lacks confidence in many areas. Also i would say i am slightly better looking but in a less conventional way.

Anyway, we arrived about 7:00pm; i brought the first round to look alpha and generous. i noticed a 2 set in the corner of the room who were drinking and sitting on a area where there were more seats open.

One of the girls was a 7/8. maybe a 9 as the drinks started to flow.
The other was more like a 5/6 at best.

My intention was to neg the target and at the same time break the ice with them and introduce them to the group.
So i went over and said if it was ok if we joined them because some other people jumped in our seats. They said sure and we sat down with them.

After that it was a little awkward as they were talking amoungst themselves and it was too loud to hear what they were saying or engage them.

So i asked my friend if he thought they were single and what age he thought they were. He said they looked older and said that the better looking one probably had a boyfriend.

I said that they were younger and agreed about the boyfriend thing.

After my 4th beer, i decided to open the set by going over to the better looking one and saying, "sorry to interrupt, but me and my friend were discussing if you two were single or not, cause me and my friend over there think you've got a boyfriend and your friend is single."

It went down well, but a didn't get the outcome i wanted. Stupidly i negged the wrong target, as her friend got insecure and wanted my attention after that. giving me IOI's and asking me what i did for a living and where i lived ect... usual stuff.

I answered that i was a salesman, which is true. She asked me what i sell and i said that i sell the dream. Which they found really funny, big points for me.

The hot one said she was married and showed me her wedding ring and her friend said she was in a relationship, i later found out. Turns out they were a bit older just for the record 26. i'm 24.

So i quickly ended the conversation politely and accused myself.

This approach gave me some confidence and i had a few girls check me out and giving me eye contact later in the night, i approached one other who was looking.

She looked about a 6.5 / 7, maybe 8 as i was pretty drunk at this point. typical blonde with big boobs. I asked her if she was single and she said that she had 2 kids and had a boyfriend.

I guess it wasn't my lucky night, but at least i approached and opened some sets i wouldn't have usually opened, with the single opener, and the eye contact IOI's i was getting after as a result.

Any thoughts?
