One time me, Grin and Bottle and Grins girlfriend were out drinking, we ran into a girl friend of Grins girl. She shakes hands with Grin, states her name, he tells her his, she shakes hands with Bottle, tells him her name, he tells her his name, she extends her hand towards me, I smile at her, she smiles back, then instantly i just spin around and state loudly "I need a drink. To the bar!".

About 15 minutes later me and Grin are leaving the bar to grab a cig outside, we pass her again. Grin waves and smiles and moves on. Im walking behind him, so I smile warmly at her, and wave. She smiles back, opens her mouth to say something, and i just face forward and proceed out.

After the cigarette I pass her again and she flat out punches me playfully in the arm.


This got me thinking. Can you open a girl by making eyecontact, smiling familiarly, maybe waving, and then, as she smiles and opens her mouth to ask if she knows you, just turn around and start talking to someone else, cutting her off?

Will this make her curious or will she just think "prick" and nevermind you?

I figured if this actually makes her go "hey! do i know you?" loudly to catch your attention, you could just turn to her set and neg her playfully with "jesus, is she always this attentioncraving? she must be a real chore to hang out with".

Ive been up for ages, so this could make absolutely no sense at all.

Thoughts?

o deffenatly man. but u have to make sure if ure gonna look away its not a look that she could interpret as shy or insecure. its gotta be a im too busy to talk to you kind of a look. i was in a restraunt one time and this girl looked at me from behind her menu. now i coulda easily applied the three second rule and ran in. but i laid back. i started mocking the way she was looking at me. and everytime it looked as if she might come over id kinda turn away and start carrying on a confident convo with my friends. after about 10 min of this playing around i applied david deangelo's tic tack toe technique( where u send a napkin back and forth through the service of a waiter) and when i won i went up to her and started the convo with " i hope u talk better then u play" to make a long story short she constantly calls me just to have sex. so yes it can be done. atleast thats my opinion.

I like to do the distance suggestion thingie with eyecontact and bodylanguage like you mentioned. Napkin thing is also cool, though ive never actually tried to use that. Note to self: try napkin.

And yeah, the turnaways are basically done in a way that makes it be an actual cutoff, so it appears teasing and cocky. Not shy or overly arrogant.
