Hey guys, I guess i should introduce myself. I'm 17 years old and i recently started talking to a girl through facebook. I did it quite casually with an cocky&funny pickup style and i got her number after 2 days. She seems really interested and always responses well and quickly to my texts. I was wondering if it would be okay to tell her to come meet me one on one at my place for a first date? Or would that scare her off?
If so, what do you guys recommend doing when you first meet someone through the internet or via text? I have been texting her lately but i have never called her or met her face to face, though i know a very close friend of her's.

Arrange to do something informal in public, or with friends. It'll make her much more comfortable than meeting you alone at your house if she's only spoken to you through texts/facebook. A movie night with a couple of your friends and a couple of hers at your place might be a good idea. Don't be expecting a lay out of this, it's just to get her comfortable with you in person, although game her like you would normally, and if you do get a lay, I doubt you'll be complaining.

Thanks for the advice. I invited her to come with us to a festival in our hometown this weekend and she accepted. We'll see where it goes from there
