Its time for me to meet the parents tonight, ( got 6 more hours ) so please give me some quick tips please.

Out of your own experience what are do's and what are dont's.

I fucking hate meeting parents because i feel i have to proof myself towards them and a first good impression could seal the deal.

Hey Mate

This is what I did.

Let her dad be the Alpha male. Let him lead the conversation etc. and stay cool with it. Have good manners in front of him. Being polite is the best thing to do but not too much! Try to be a cool polite and down to earth person.
Let your girl lead the conversations only take the lead when she is about to drop the conversations.

Sadly this time, make sure she is in control. She knows her parents best and knows what they want to hear. Let her show you off to them. But finally, when it’s just you and her show her that you are still the man!.

And BTW once you are comfortable around her parents start talking the lead, the parents and your girl would love it and be very impressed.

Ok so things went rather well. Her dad was jokingly giving me points when i agreed with things he liked or when i said something he liked and then her mom gave me 1 minus point for agreeing with her dad haha. They asked me some basic questions about work, vacation but nothing like an interview so overall it was a pretty good first date with the parents.

I think it really depends on the parents whether things are going good or not. If they don't like you from the start its gonna be tough to change that around.

So i can cross that one of the list Onto the next challenge.

This where being good with people in general comes in. Ive found that finding an interest you share with her Dad is the best way to go. If you get on with her Dad then you have done well.

Always let him be the alpha though like you said. Have a firm handshake, maintain eye contact, have strong body language but laugh at his stupid jokes, humour him when he is wrong and offer to do the dishes after dinner.
