I am new to this game and am trying to figure out my full motives for thinking I should get involved. I have therefore decided to just dump my mind out here and then see what happens.

I am a 25 yr old IT student who will be let out into the big world next June, I also teach skiing and work in a health club. I have a girlfriend of 4 years and very little in the way of a social life, this is not because of her it's more to do with my upbringing and the way my folks interact with the world.

I am finding that I am progressively loosing my ablility to confidently interact with people and have always been the guy that talks way to much. As I a am graduating this year I have set myself a goal.

'To develop my social skills before graduation'

I think this game will be a good way of doing this as it will put me in a position that I feel completely uncomfortable with. GIRLS

I don't have a problem talking to girls that I know as I am normally in the friends zone, but ask me to approach one and i am on a looser.

So to summarize, I want to learn the game not just to be able to talk to women more, but also to interact with men, women, business partners and the world.

Am i barking up the right tree here, or should I be looking at a diffrent form of personal development?

Hi sorry his is late but heres how I first learned about the game you could watch the show on vh1 showing you mystery method of approaching you could read the game but the most shortest and entertaining way for me was playing the sim http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/269959 it will teach you all the basics also staying in staying ahead in conversations is to google search "stylemog" my friend told me to do it and smile as much as you can it makes you seem friendlier but the best way is socially interact as much as possible you will subconciously pick up on the social traits you want if your ever afraid of approaching tell yourself these words

I think you can achieve your goals by learning PUA skills. Get a good book on the subject (my book is linked below and available on Amazon), read this forum, ask questions, and practice practice practice. You'll be surprised at what you learn and how good it makes you feel.
