Lets say a girl calls you up and you've forgotten her name. Or you've met a girl before and you just don't remember. Or maybe you DO remember her but you just want to pretend like you don't because you fucked up and sounded desperate the first time you met her. This works great in these kind of situations.

"wait, you said your name was Caitlin? OH WAIT you're that girl that kept hitting on me the entire night! how the fuck could i forget that?? I'm such a douche."
"ummm... no i think that was someone else, sorry."
"oh, dang it. well maybe i don't remember but its good meeting you... again haha."

Intentionally mistake her for another girl that was hitting on you. Normally i don't condone EVER apologizing to a woman, but this is different. You're apologizing for being such a player. You're apologizing for being so damn cool that every girl wants you, so she couldn't POSSIBLY be mad at you. don't apologize for forgetting her name. apologize for being awesome.

Now how the fuck did you go from being the guilty one to a downright player? Well, its actually a lot of things. for one, you've just admitted a mistake right when she was blaming you for something else. this is ONLY characteristic of very alpha men. when being blamed, most people hide their faults and avoid any mention of them. with this trick, not only have you disguised a strength as a fault, you've shown that fault off like its a fricking cub scout badge.

To divert opposition, SHOW VULNERABILITY.
Make your weaknesses sound like strengths and your strengths sound like weaknesses. Women can always tell when someone is TOO perfect and actually SEEK OUT those faults. It helps if they're looking in the wrong place.

The only problem is that you can't open with this kind of game, girls will be offended and think you're too cocky. But this type of game is so cocky and funny, girls always want to play along if they know you're only screwing around.
