My GF went out yesterday afternoon to meet her friend and a dude they know.

They all work in a similar field and her friend has a MAJOR crush on the dude. He is a nice guy and I get along fine with him...I have done for a couple of years now.

She said she didnt really wanna go but it had been arranged for a few weeks etc. I told her to enjoy her night and I would see her today. I knew that the meet up was primarily geared towards her friend getting some time with the dude. He has a GF so its a pretty tricky situation for her!

My GF said via text to me that she was going home at about 1am.

Around midnight she said they were meeting up with the dudes friends for a while.

She text me saying she was really drunk blah blah and just got in...this was 4am.
She said she wanted to go earlier but her friend didnt want to (she was having fun in this dude's company)...and my GF and her friend live in near each other so were getting the nightbus together.

So why am I a bit pissed off? Well the dude had two male friends out with him...I trust my GF but I'm a little bit annoyed she stayed out in bars so long with 3 dudes if I'm honest.

If she was just with her girlfriends I wouldnt mind...in fact this would probably attract more guys to hit on her but I trust her to conduct herself correctly.

So yeah, I'm just pissed off she spent so long out with some random guys.... surely she would feel the same if this was me, a male friend, a female friend some random girls?

I was gonna call her on this earlier and just say that I was a bit pissed off when she texted me at 4am...but I'm not entirely sure if this is correct.

One of the dudes added her this morning on facebook... again I trust her I just dont understand a) why this cheesed me off so much b) why she didnt just go home earlier.

If I do call her on this I'm gonna make it subtle/comedic saying how I was kinda pissed off at the time but its fine now and wait for her response.

Opinions?

Do not call her out on this, it's your insecurity.

She texts you the whole night long. So she is thinking about you. If you say you trust her, actually trust her!

You'll only come across as needy/jealous.

Hey 2:35, I don't advice for you but I can really identify with your emotions. They're similar to mine, I find myself getting hung up about stuff that I know is minor (such as your girlfriend adding this guy on facebook):

I'll be really interested to see what advice gets given in this thread.

Concerning your situation, for now I'd relax. Remeber, your girlfriend texted you. You were obviously on her mind so she wanted communication with you.

That can't be a bad thing.

Good luck mate.

i find it kinda odd that this has been arranged for weeks when the guy has a GF. i question your GFs friends integrity to chase a guy who is taken. but hey alls fair in love and war

exactly. if you had similar outings on your own, your insecurities would diminish and hers would increase. not saying you should go out to purposely make her insecure, but it is what it is. it should be an inherent part of your lifestyle.

She has integrity; shes not going all out to seduce this guy. She just has a crush on him so enjoys his company.

Maybe I do need similar scenarios, I just wouldnt want to rock the boat.

Finally... I agree with what people are saying in this thread...I do not plan to say anything about it to her whatsoever. I can see it for what it is...nothing.

Appreciate the feedback, I feel like I've grown stronger and more knowledgeable for this thread. Thanks people!
