Problem number closing:

I say,'Maybe you could gimme u number and we could get together sometime?'

She says,'I don't think so?!'

I should have said,'Maybe....and we could keep in touch'

Thoughts??

From Art of Approaching, "should" is a key word. It's what she should do.

However, you probably didn't establish enough comfort or attraction to close with a number.

I like "You're pretty interesting...How can we continue this conversaton?"

OR "I'm about to leave write down something creative." Hand her a pen and paper. If she looks at you blankly. "Here's a hint," write this and say"dash, dash dash, ....dash, dash, dash, dash" --- ----.

dont say maybe. be strong. i like those lines above. or say something like hey let me get your number and we can continue our conversation some other time and hand her your phone

True you need to built enough attraction and comfort for this to be affective. Yesterday i was in a restaurant eating and i open up this chick HB 8 and had a convo for 5 minutes. I wanted to her to invest interest by the stories i told but no luck. Point Blank is that You NEED to spark attraction and comfort first. Is she doesn't give you herr number then you know you did something wrong.

Exactly. Never say maybe. Another idea is to simply tell her you have to leave then give her your cell phone. She'll look at you blankly for a second, then say, "You put your number in it. It's a cell phone *said like she's an idiot*" If she's a 10 add: "Aw, you've never given someone your number before. Don't worry, I'll only call you 20 times a day. It's OK" (Props David D)

I've been going more strict MM the past few weeks and have gotten good responses just looking at them in the eye and saying, "I have to go, and I've really enjoyed talking to you. How can we continue this conversation?" (Mystery line) She will suggest giving you her number then.

This is one i've been using in email and POF

'dont worry i wont mail 50 times aday to tell you what i've been upto in the last 20 minutes, unless you want me to'.

It worked great both times after i wrote aload of c + f stuff in like 3 msg's and they replied.
It made one reply
'its ok, i think you sound like a right laff, i'll mail you next time i see you online'


I did'nt realise DD use's a similar one too.
