Hey i wanted to ask for advice on getting a job as a sales assistant for topman, river island, all saints or apple or etc

I live in the uk and with the current economic climate these kind of jobs are fulled with alot of experienced applicants.

Now im a university student but its my summer holidays and i have around 2-3months.

My only problem is i dont have any experience in retail so where do i start?

Just to add i love fashion and clothes, i'm very well dressed and have a great sense of style if it helps.

The cool thing about retail is that most times they will train you to do the job. I have worked retail most of my career. The best way I have found is to just go into the store and fill out an application there. I worked at Mervyn's here in the US before it shut down. I also worked retail at a local lumberyard, then Salvation Army and finally landed a job with Walmart. If you like clothing, then by all means, browse the mall near you and apply to the stores you like.

Read books on sales if you need help in this area... Best of luck to you.
